New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul underwent another surgery on his damaged right hand.
Pierre-Paul, who sported a thick bandage on his right hand last season after a July fireworks accident, hopes to gain more flexibility in his middle finger from the surgery.
Pierre-Paul missed the first half of 2015 after undergoing a first surgery on his hand, and recorded just one sack in eight games. The 27-year-old told reporters in December that he had made the decision to play out the rest of season despite requiring additional surgery.
Lord I absolutely believe you have the power to heal. You demonstrated that on earth and through me already, and you still heal in miraculous ways for me and many others. Even when my faith is weak, you say it is enough, and my love for you is strong. And I know you already hold my heart and life in your hands. It's up to you. If I can bring you more glory through healing, then that's what I ask for. #90powerCircle #SurgeryDay #ImSoReady #JustTheBeginning
