Arizona Cardinals running back Chris Johnson says he will play if his team advances to the Super Bowl, reportsUSA Today’s Tom Pelissero.

“God-willing, we get there,” Johnson said of the Super Bowl, “and then, it’s showtime.”

Johnson was placed on injured reserve earlier this season with designation to return after fracturing his tibia on Nov. 29 against the San Francisco 49ers.

He is required to remain on injured reserve for a minimum of six weeks, which means Arizona would need to defeat the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship Game this weekend in order for Johnson to play again this season.

The former Tennessee Titan has 814 yards on 196 carries and three touchdowns this season.
