The Denver Broncos have told the San Francisco 49ers that they think quarterback Colin Kaepernick is worth a fourth-round pick, reports NFL Network’s Michael Silver.

The Broncos have not offered the 49ers a fourth-round pick, but believe that to be the “right price,” reports Silver.

Denver is looking for a quarterback after the retirement of Peyton Manning and the departure of Brock Osweiler in free agency. The only quarterback on Denver’s roster currently is Trevor Siemian, who did not take a snap last season.

Kaepernick has become expendable for San Francisco after his benching in favor of Blaine Gabbert last season. Kaepernick played in only nine games in 2015, and ended the season injured.

In his career, Kaepernick has completed 59.9% of his passes for 10,030 yards, with 57 touchdowns and 26 interceptions.
