Former Steelers CB Brandon Boykin signs with Panthers

Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Brandon Boykin has signed a one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Brandon Boykin has signed a one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers, the team announced Monday.

Boykin was drafted by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL draft and spent the first three years of his career in Philadelphia before signing with the Steelers before the 2015 season.

With the Steelers last season, Boykin made 16 tackles with one sack and one interception. He has logged 118 career tackles with eight interceptions and one touchdown in 64 games.

He has never missed a game in his four-year career, but has made only seven starts.
