Houston cracked the playoffs after posting a 11–5 record to clinch the AFC South title for the third time in the past four seasons.

Indianapolis will make its first playoff appearance since 2014 after finishing the 2018 regular season 10–6.

The Colts currently lead the all-time series, 26–8.
