Trevon Diggs Addresses NSFW Video Trash Talking Dak Prescott

Cowboys star cornerback Trevon Diggs grabbed plenty of attention for some trash talk directed at quarterback Dak Prescott during a training camp practice. In the NSFW video posted by NFL reporter Clarence Hill Jr., Diggs is seen and heard making comments which quickly went viral.

The 24-year-old cornerback appeared to tell Prescott to “shut your b---- a-- up” after the defense held the quarterback in check during a play.

The video was a topic of conversation among many analysts and even former players, some of whom believed this was more than just trash talk, but Diggs himself was quick to put that to rest when asked about the topic following Thursday’s practice.

Here’s a look at what Diggs told The Athletic’s Jon Machota when asked about trash talking Prescott:

“I feel like it makes practice fun. At the end of the day, that’s my brother. I love Dak to death. There nothing behind it. It’s just competitiveness, it’s just football,” Diggs said, per Machota.

He was also asked to address those people who say he “doesn’t have respect for Dak,” per Machota, to which Diggs strongly fired back at that notion.

“Stay out of our business. People don’t need to worry about what we got going on, our relationship, my relationship with my brother. Dak is the leader of our team. He’s going to go out there and have a great year. I have the utmost respect for Dak.” Diggs stated.

From the comments made by Diggs, it appears there’s no shortage of trash talk among the players, but even more importantly, there’s certainly no underlying issues between him and Prescott.
