Tua Tagovailoa Happily Shares Credit After Improving to 5-0 vs. Bill Belichick

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa remains undefeated against Bill Belichick and the Patriots following Miami’s 24–17 win on Sunday Night Football.

Despite all that success against the legendary coach, Tagovailoa went out of his way to avoid hogging the spotlight after improving to 5–0 against New England. Indeed, he credited the entire Dolphins organization after the AFC East victory.

“I think our team is 5 and 0 against Bill Belichick,” Tagovailoa said, via Boston.com. “It’s never a me thing. It’s never a me thing. And I don’t think we ever look at it as, ‘Oh, we beat them once, we beat them twice, we beat them five times in a row.’ Every time we face Coach Belichick’s team, it’s always a challenge. And we know we’re going to get their best.”

Miami sits atop the division at 2–0, and the Patriots are in last place at 0–2. Against the Patriots, Tagovailoa completed 21 of 30 passes for 249 yards with one touchdown pass and one interception.

The Dolphins play host to the Broncos (0-2) on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
