Peyton and Eli Manning Had Relatable Reactions to Daniel Jones’s Disastrous Pick-Six

The Giants didn’t manage to score a touchdown on Monday night against the Seahawks, suffering a disappointing 24–3 loss in primetime.

On what was perhaps New York’s best chance to get into the end zone, Daniel Jones threw a pick-six to first-round rookie Devon Witherspoon, prompting both Eli Manning and Peyton Manning to do a synchronized “surrender cobra” on the ManningCast broadcast.

Jones tried to find Parris Campbell in the end zone but ended up throwing the ball directly to Witherspoon, who capped off a monster game with a 97-yard interception return for a touchdown, the first of his NFL career.

The reaction from the Manning brothers truly said it all after the disastrous pick-six. As Witherspoon raced the opposite way toward the end zone, Eli simply repeated, “Oh no,” while placing his hands on his head. Peyton cringed at the errant throw before entering the classic “surrender cobra” pose.

It was a night to forget for New York, as Jones was sacked a Monday Night Football record 10 times in the loss. He threw two interceptions, including the pick-six to Witherspoon, and fumbled once as well.
