NFL Fans Roasted Bill Belichick After He Suffered Another Historically Bad Loss vs. Saints

The Patriots began the season 1–4 for the first time in the coach’s career.

Bill Belichick is in uncharted waters in his NFL coaching career with the Patriots starting the season 1–4 for the first time in his tenure.

But the big news on Sunday was that the Patriots embarrassingly lost 34–0 to the Saints, giving Belichick’s the worst loss at home in his career. This happened just one week after the Patriots lost 38–3 to the Cowboys, Belichick’s worst loss of his overall career. In these two weeks alone, New England has been outscored 72–3.

The team’s last touchdown came during the second quarter of its Week 3 win over the Jets, which is still the Patriots' only win this season so far.

While Sunday’s blowout added salt to the wound, NFL fans began questioning if Belichick’s time in New England is nearing an end. The 71-year-old has been with the team since 2000, but this season is starting to be a major bust.

The Patriots travel to Las Vegas in Week 6 and will hope for more positive results against the Raiders.
