Deion Sanders took some time away from his duties as head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes to tune in to the Sunday Night Football showdown between two of his former teams—the Cowboys and 49ers.

After Dallas went down with a brutal 42-10 loss, Sanders made an appearance on CW's Inside the NFL with Chad Johnson and Ryan Clark, and said he 'felt bad' for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott after the blowout 42-10 loss.

"I felt bad for Dak, I really did. I felt bad for Dak, because I think Dak is better than that," said Sanders.

The two-time Super Bowl champion was shocked by the performance of some of the Cowboys' players whom he felt didn't show up to compete on Sunday night.

"The Cowboys have guys that are supposed to be dogs," said Sanders. "Do you remember when we went to school and the teacher called your name and you said 'here,' I need you [Cowboys players] to say 'here.' Say something."

While admitting to being focused on the collegiate gridiron, Sanders said he made it a point to watch this NFL game.

"That was something to behold, what I watched on television. I don't watch the pro game much because I am into the college game, but I had to see that [matchup]," said Sanders.

Despite the shocking result, Sanders believes the Cowboys signal-caller will be 'better than that' poor performance in the weeks ahead.
