Tom Brady to Unretirement Question From MrBeast: Parents, Kids ‘Would Kill Me’

Tom Brady will not be coming out of retirement to help any quarterback-needy teams this season.

Brady has not played in an NFL game in nearly a year, and doesn’t plan on suiting up again. His latest comments on staying retired came on his Let’s Go! podcast with Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald earlier this week, when their guest, famed YouTuber MrBeast, tried to get Brady to say he would unretire.

“I am not coming out of retirement,” Brady said. “I can’t tease that. My parents would call. My kids would call. They’d kill me. I wouldn’t be around by tonight,” Brady said as he chuckled.

Tom Brady unretired once after his initial announcement in early 2022, but he says this latest decision is final.

Brady joked that he used up all of his “unretirements.”

“As I said, you’re only allowed one unretirement, and I’ve used that up.”

Brady finished his career following Tampa Bay’s playoff dismissal at the hands of Dallas last January. He is the most decorated quarterback in NFL history, holding nearly every passing record to his name to go along with his seven Super Bowl titles.
