Aaron Rodgers Takes Shot at Giants While Defending Jets Amid Recent Struggles

The Jets have put together the streakiest start to a season one could imagine in the wake of an injury that’s kept Aaron Rodgers sidelined since Week 1. After the opening-night victory against the Bills, New York lost three straight, then won three in a row before dropping its last two games.

But amid the criticism that’s been directed at the team, Rodgers threw a bit of a shade at New York’s other team, the Giants, in defense of the Jets.

“That the Giants suck and no one is talking about it?” Rodgers said on the Pat McAfee Show in response to a question about the lack of criticism facing the Giants.

While the Jets have certainly struggled and their recent two-game skid has been a different level of bad, featuring zero offensive touchdowns, it’s fair to point out the Giants’ struggles as well.

They sit at 2–8 and have dropped seven of the last eight games, including a loss to the Jets over that span.
