Houston Texans Crush Dallas Cowboys With Beautifully Simple Two-Word Tweet After Packers’ Win

The Dallas Cowboys were once again bounced from the playoffs on Sunday, falling in a humbling defeat against the Green Bay Packers during the wild-card round, 48–32.

With the Cowboys’ season over, the Houston Texans saw an opportunity to troll their in-state rivals on social media, and they were ready with the perfect tweet.

The Texans’ social media team posted a photo of the team celebrating on X, captioning the post, “Texas’ team.”

Dallas, of course, has proudly flaunted the nickname “America’s Team” since 1979, but with Houston still fighting in the playoffs, they claimed the status as the top team in the state of Texas.

The Texans put on an excellent display in their wild-card round matchup against the Cleveland Browns, dominating throughout all four quarters en route to a 45–14 win. Rookie quarterback CJ Stroud continued his outstanding campaign without a hitch during his first career postseason appearance, and the team is now preparing for its first divisional round game since 2019.

The Cowboys, on the other hand, remain without a conference championship appearance since 1995, a streak that spans across 13 trips to the postseason.

Things are trending up in Houston, and with Dallas facing a multitude of questions ahead of their looming offseason, the Texans’ social media team comically claimed ownership of being Texas’ team.
