Brett Favre Posts Classy Message to Packers’ Jordan Love After Playoff Loss to 49ers

In this story:
Brett Favre knows an elite quarterback when he sees one.
After all, Favre, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, Super Bowl champion and three-time NFL MVP, was one of the best signal-callers in league history.
Despite the Green Bay Packers' 24—21 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round of the postseason on Saturday, Favre feels that his former team has a potential great one in current QB Jordan Love.
Favre took to his account on X, formerly Twitter, to deliver an encouraging message to both Packers fans and Love, whose interception in the fourth quarter sealed the loss for Green Bay.
Great game and tough loss for my Packers. I’m sure I speak for all packer fans when I say “we are very proud of you and can’t wait to see what the future holds”. Lots to be excited about.Jordan keep your chin up because I believe you can be the best Packer QB yet.Congrats 49ers

“I’m sure I speak for all Packer fans when I say, we are very proud of you and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Lots to be excited about. Jordan keep your chin up because I believe you can be the best Packer QB yet,” Favre wrote in a post on X.
That's high praise to say that Love could be more successful with Green Bay than Favre or Aaron Rodgers, two Packers legends who racked up seven MVPs and two Super Bowl titles combined during their careers in Wisconsin.
However, Love did something that neither Favre nor Rodgers accomplished in their first years under center. He led Green Bay to the postseason, then helped the franchise secure a playoff victory in Dallas against the Cowboys.
If Favre is this optimistic about Love, then Packers fans should be as well, even in the aftermath of a disappointing defeat.
