Patrick Mahomes’s NSFW Postgame Speech After Chiefs’ Win Over Bills Was So Powerful

Patrick Mahomes was understandably fired up after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills, 27–24, in Sunday’s divisional round playoff showdown.

The victory advanced the Chiefs to their sixth consecutive AFC championship game following a somewhat disappointing regular season in which Kansas City finished as the No. 3 seed in the conference with an 11–6 record.

NFL Films caught Mahomes giving a fiery speech to his teammates in Kansas City’s postgame locker room, speaking out against those who predicted the Chiefs would lose Mahomes’s first career road playoff game in Buffalo.

“They asked for it and they got what they asked for,” said Mahomes. “But [Travis Kelce] said it. This s— ain’t done. We come back next week ready to go!”

Many cited the Chiefs playing at Buffalo as a major reason why the Bills might finally defeat Kansas City in the playoffs. Bills tackle Dion Dawkins said as much to reporters last Thursday.

“[Mahomes has] only been here once. So he’s never been here. Simple as that,” Dawkins said, per ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg. “Pat has never been to the Bills stadium in full… The environment will be different and not to say it’s in our favor, but stadium is our favor. Stadium is us. That helps us.”

Dawkins ended his remarks by saying, “So good luck.”

Mahomes remembered that after the Chiefs’ win, trolling Dawkins with “Good luck” on his Instagram account.

The Chiefs hit the road again, traveling to Baltimore for the AFC championship on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET. Whether or not anyone on the Ravens makes a remark that Mahomes uses as motivation will be worth monitoring.
