Colorado’s Deion Sanders Praises Chiefs’ Andy Reid After AFC Title Game Win

Colorado coach Deion Sanders was hyped up for the Kansas City Chiefs and coach Andy Reid after their 17–10 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Sunday’s AFC championship game.

This will mark Reid’s fifth Super Bowl appearance: four with the Chiefs and one with the Philadelphia Eagles. He’s already won two Super Bowl titles in his career, both with the Chiefs.

Although Sanders, who earned eight Pro Bowl selections as an elite NFL cornerback between 1989 and 2005, never played under Reid, it’s clear Sanders has a lot of respect for the venerable coach.

“Andy Reid is the man! I love him as a man, a coach and a friend. He is ‘COACH-HIM,’” Sanders wrote Sunday on X, formerly Twitter.

Sanders won two Super Bowl rings during his career, one with the San Francisco 49ers and the other one with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Chiefs will face the 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
