Jason Kelce Can’t Wait to Ask New Eagles OC Kellen Moore About Infamous Cowboys Play

In this story:
Jason Kelce hasn’t met new Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore yet, but he already knows exactly which question he wants to ask the coach.
Moore, who spent the 2023 season with the Los Angeles Chargers after serving as the Dallas Cowboys’ offensive coordinator from 2019 through ’22, was hired by Philadelphia this past Saturday to be the Eagles’ new play-caller.
Kelce and his brother, Travis, spoke about the Eagles’ hiring of Moore during the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, leading to an amusing moment. Inevitably, Jason Kelce brought up the final play from the Cowboys’ January 2023 playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers, one drawn up by Moore that saw Ezekiel Elliott line up at center, then immediately get blasted by San Francisco defender Azeez Al-Shaair.
Here’s the play in question:

After Travis Kelce began laughing, Jason then told his brother and viewers that he “still wants to know what was going to happen” and “can’t wait to ask” Moore that question.

Too funny.
That’s the question seemingly every Cowboys fan would like to ask Moore about the play, which was pilloried on social media during and after the game.
But in all seriousness, Kelce also discussed Moore’s creativity as a play-caller, something that’s evident from his overall success as a coordinator, as something the Eagles need.
