Bills QB Josh Allen Boasts He Has NFL’s Strongest Arm

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been known for having the strongest arm in the NFL in recent seasons.

But, what does Allen think about that statement? ESPN’s Pat McAfee asked the Bills starter on Thursday at Super Bowl LVIII’s Radio Row. Allen barely hesitated when giving his answer.

“Do you still have the strongest arm in the league, or no?” McAfee asked.

“I’d like to think so,” Allen replied. “And by I like to think so is yes.”

The crew asked him if he could throw an 85-yard pass, and Allen said he might be able to in a high altitude location, like Laramie, Wyo. where he went to college.

In December, ESPN’s Matt Bowen crowned Allen as having the strongest arm in the league, with his reasoning being based on the quarterback’s ability to throw the ball at all different levels on the field. By Dec. 20, Allen had thrown 11 passes of at least 25 air yards.
