Drake’s Massive Super Bowl Bet Has NFL Fans Anticipating a 'Drake Curse' Moment

It's a good thing Drake has made something of himself in the musical realm, because he is not the best sports prognosticator. Name the discipline, and Drake has probably come out on the losing end at some point in recent years.

Soccer? Drake lost $1 million on Argentina's victory over France in the 2022 World Cup final.

College football? The musician was all over Alabama against Clemson in 2018's national championship, a game the Crimson Tide lost 44–16.

Basketball? The Cleveland Cavaliers' iconic 2016 Finals triumph over the Golden State Warriors cost Drake $60,000.

He has improved of late, correctly picking the Denver Nuggets to win the 2023 NBA title, but it didn't stop fans from speculating after the rapper shared Saturday afternoon that he bet $1.15 million on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers.

"I can't bet against the Swifties," Drake wrote.

Many fans are ready to hand the Lombardi Trophy to the 49ers.

Swift's fans appeared prepared to come after Drake in the event of a San Francisco victory.

Chiefs fans reassured themselves that Drake was little different than any other fan.

Some marveled at how much things have changed year over year for both Swift and Kansas City.

Can the Chiefs overcome Drake? We’ll find out Sunday night.
