NFL Fans Had Plenty of Opinions on CBS Debuting New Scorebug at Super Bowl

One of the recent annual traditions of television networks airing the Super Bowl is to debut a new graphics package that will be used the following season for NFL games.
This year, CBS followed suit with a new scorebug for Super Bowl LVIII between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

As you may have guessed, NFL fans had plenty to say about the network’s notable change:
I think it's sharp but why did they give up on the font? https://t.co/tljuO5QQkq

So mid. Plus the “SF” and “KC” need to be smaller and not so close to the edges. https://t.co/Et9e6IFtDu

Scorebug is a downgrade on first glance. You don't need to change the scorebug every time you air a Super Bowl.

Not a big fan of this scorebug font tbh. Really just Arial and basic pic.twitter.com/2W3HWW8EWU

Not bad at all, only thing throwing me off is the font that they chose to use for the abbreviations of the teams, don’t really like it. Other than that, pretty good scorebug!

The CBS scorebug looks like it's in Times New Roman font.
