Texas Sportscaster Correctly Predicted Exact Score of Super Bowl LVIII

In the lead-up to Super Bowl LVIII, a Texas sportscaster made a prediction for the big game that was so accurate it made him seem like a time traveler.

The sportscaster, Stan Smith of KLBK Sports in Lubbock, Tx., predicted that the Kansas City Chiefs would defeat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. That wasn't too surprising, given that Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes attended Texas Tech, which is based in Lubbock.

What was extraordinary was the fact that Smith correctly predicted the exact result of Super Bowl LVIII, a 25—22 victory for Kansas City. Check out Smith's prediction, which aired on the local Lubbock news telecast just two days before the contest, as shared by Kayler Smith on X, formerly Twitter.

This gentleman deserves a round of applause.

It's difficult enough to predict who's going to win the game, even more difficult to predict the score. But to completely nail a prediction like this one, with a score as unusual as 25—22, is astonishingly impressive.
