Pop star Taylor Swift donated $100,000 to the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, who was shot and killed on Wednesday at the Kansas City ChiefsSuper Bowl victory parade.

“Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift,” the message read on the family’s GoFundMe page.

Swift’s $100,000 donation early Friday morning surpassed the $75,000 total goal that the family set in the fundraiser. Per NBC News, around 1,300 people had made donations to the fundraiser when Swift made her two donations of $50,000 each. At the time of this writing, the family has raised over $223,000 and has now eclipsed 2,400 total donations.

Lopez-Galvan is the lone casualty in the shooting that took place on Wednesday, which wounded more than 20 people. Several remain in critical condition as of Friday morning.

Swift’s act of kindness in the family’s time of need is notable, as she took time out of her world tour in Australia to donate to the Lopez-Galvan family.
