Arizona Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort and coach Jonathan Gannon met with the media on Monday ahead of this week's NFL draft.

With mock drafts, predictions and buzz abound, a pretty fair question was asked of Ossenfort.

"How many players do you have on your board and how many do you have graded in the first round?"

The question was fair, and Ossenfort did his best to answer it without actually answering it.

"We don't necessarily talk first round. It's not really a language we use," Ossenfort began. "We talk about roles and where they fit on our team. In terms of number of guys we have on our board, it's a little bit of a moving target. I'd say we have guys that are up there, but I'd say there's a focused number that we're more interested in. I wouldn't say it's an extensive number. These guys gotta check a lot of boxes for us to be guys that we want to add to our program. So, hard for me to give you a number on that."

After talking for about 40 seconds and giving a respectful non-answer, Gannon piped up with a comment that had the entire press corps laughing.

"Zero chance you were getting that answer."

After a 4-13 year one, Gannon, Ossenfort and the franchise as a whole will be looking to continue to improve the roster through the draft this week.

Arizona owns the No. 4 and No. 27 picks in Thursday's first round.
