CINCINNATI — Cody Ford is a Cincinnati Bengal.

The team signed the offensive lineman after a visit on Thursday. He joins a new-look group as a depth piece that could be crucial in a pinch next season.

Ford, 26, has experience at both guard spots. He appeared in 11 games for the Cardinals last season as he enters his fifth NFL campaign.

The Bills took him in the second round (38th overall) in the 2019 NFL Draft.

He was teammates with Orlando Brown Jr. at Oklahoma and now joins his old college running mate in the offensive line room. Ford's played in 49 career regular-season games (32 starts), seeing action at right tackle, right guard, and left guard.

Cincinnati has spent a few years building the protection unit around Joe Burrow and this is another investment on that front.
