Sports Illustrated's Connor Orr Boldly Predicts Bengals to Win Super Bowl LIX, Lead NFL in Offense

Cincinnati is trying to break through for the ultimate prize this coming season.

CINCINNATI — Sports Illustrated's Connor Orr dropped a bold 2024 season prediction for each NFL team and he has the Bengals leading the league in offense on its way to a Super Bowl victory over the Detroit Lions.

"No Brian Callahan? No problem," Orr wrote. "Zac Taylor and Dan Pitcher, the team’s new offensive coordinator and a prospective future star, are going to post the best numbers of Burrow’s career in 2024. That means besting 35 touchdowns, and the 4,600 yards Burrow threw for during the Bengals’ Super Bowl season in 2021. Oh, and the Bengals defeat the Detroit Lions in Super Bowl LIX."

Music to Bengals' fans' ears as the team tries to break through from the chokehold Kansas City's put over the AFC.

As the dust settles on the 2023 season, Joe Burrow is still the only active NFL quarterback to beat Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs.
