Andrew Whitworth: Patrick Mahomes is Football's Michael Jordan
CINCINNATI — Is Patrick Mahomes the Michael Jordan of football? Former Bengals and Rams star Andrew Whitworth thinks so.
Whitworth tweeted the comparison after Mahomes led the Chiefs past the 49ers 25-22 in overtime on Sunday night in Super Bowl LVIII. Mahomes has three Super Bowl wins. The Chiefs are the first team to win back-to-back championships since the Patriots in 2003-04.
Kansas City has won three of the past five Super Bowls, which includes two wins over the 49ers.
