Browns Beat Jets 37-20, Helps Clear Bengals' Path to Playoffs
CINCINNATI — The Cleveland Browns beat the Jets 37-20 on Thursday night to improve to 11-5 on the season.
Not only did they clinch a playoff berth, but they secured the No. 5 seed in the AFC. That means the Bengals can only get the sixth or the seventh seed.
The Bengals have a 93% chance of making the playoffs if they win their final two games of the season.

Cincinnati plays Kansas City on Sunday, before hosting Cleveland in the regular season finale. Since Cleveland already has the fifth seed locked up, they could rest their starters. Baltimore would need to beat Miami this week for that scenario to come to fruition.
The Bengals need to beat the Chiefs on Sunday for it to matter, but there is a scenario where Cincinnati's matchup with Cleveland is a "win or go home" rivalry game in the final week of the regular season.
