Report: Bengals Expected to Sign Joe Burrow to Contract Extension Before Sunday's Game Against Browns

In this story:
CINCINNATI — Will the Bengals sign Joe Burrow to a contract extension before Sunday's season opener?
Burrow might not be thinking about it, but it's on the mind of everyone else in the football world.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network believes the Bengals will sign him soon.
"There is confidence that Joe Burrow will get a new deal before kickoff," Rapoport said on Thursday. "Burrow is going to be the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL when that happens, it's just a matter of how high does he get? This is gonna end up for Joe Burrow, for the Bengals and for everyone who is literally just waiting on this deal to happen."
That report aligns with what league sources told All Bengals earlier this week. The feeling around the team is that Burrow will sign an extension before the team travels to Cleveland on Saturday afternoon.
