Bengals Meet Virtually With Kentucky Guard Tashawn Manning

Cincinnati could add the talent late in the draft.

CINCINNATI — Kentucky guard Tashawn Manning had a Zoom with the Bengals recently as the draft sits hours away.

Justin Melo reported the visit.

Manning is the consensus 348th-ranked prospect and is a free-agent candidate. Dane Brugler has him ranked 21st among guards.

"Manning has the size and makeup that will appeal to NFL teams, but his below-average athleticism and consistency will be tough hurdles to clear versus NFL skill," Brugler wrote in his draft guide. "He projects as a potential swing guard in the NFL."

He has experience at left and right guard after posting a 69.7 overall PFF grade and a 77.6 pass-blocking grade last season.
