Orlando Brown: 'End Goal In This World Is To Have a Gold Jacket'

Cincinnati will have a different looking protection unit once again this coming season.

CINCINNATI — Orlando Brown Jr. signed a historic contract to play for the Cincinnati Bengals, but he made it clear dollars and cents aren't one of his top priorities.

It's all about gold jackets and Super Bowls for the Bengals' new left tackle.

"Ultimately, my end goal in this world is to have a gold jacket," Brown said about his pursuit of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. "No matter how much money I make, that's not necessarily my end goal. You know what I mean? Like I'm in this for Super Bowls. I'm in this for All-Pros. I'm in this for Pro Bowls. I'm in this to have the best offensive line in the world, and that's what means the most to me is to be able to have the opportunity to suit up for the franchise. To suit up for guys like nine (Joe Burrow) you know, that's what's most important to me."

Brown has said all the right things as he gets primed to prove his worth on the field.

Cincinnati paid him to seal down the left side from this September through the 2026 season.
