Zac Taylor Updates Joe Burrow's Health As Offseason Workouts Start: 'Everything's Been Positive'
The Bengals are gearing up for their first run at Super Bowl glory.
CINCINNATI — Bengals head coach Zac Taylor met with the media on Monday as the team gets back together for the start of offseason workouts. One player who's still been able to pump iron despite his wrist surgery is Joe Burrow.
Taylor provided the latest on his recovery.
"Everything's been positive," Taylor said.
He expounded further on the recovery team as a whole.
"If everything is on track, everything's on track," Taylor said about player's recoveries. "Matt Summers and our staff there you know, Nick Cosgrave works with a lot of the rehab guys they do a really good job. full confidence in them and full confidence the players are giving them what they need to give them. And so really as a whole our rehab everybody's been on track and hear positive reports on on the pace that we think they need to be on."
Burrow suffered the injury on Nov. 16 last season and had surgery to repair the damaged ligaments.
All of this ahead of a huge 2024 season that could be the final run for Cincinnati's elite offensive trio in Burrow, Tee Higgins, and Ja'Marr Chase.
"I obviously understand the concern everybody has, but the guy has been through some rehab processes, and so he knows how to attack it," Taylor concluded.
