BREAKING: Bills Promote Joe Brady To Full-Time Offensive Coordinator
The choice for the Buffalo Bills' next full-time offensive coordinator seemed like an obvious one, and that's the path they chose by promoting Joe Brady to the role on a permanent basis.
After the Bills fired previous offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey in mid-November, Brady, who was previously the team's quarterbacks coach, took over the role and immediately turned the offense around. Buffalo's offense was balanced much better between the ground and air games, and the team went 7-2 with Brady calling the shots.

This marks Brady's second time as a full-time offensive coordinator in the NFL, as he previously held the title with the Carolina Panthers from 2020 to 2021. He got his start in the NFL as an offensive assistant with the New Orleans Saints in 2017 and 2018.
Brady is also well-known for his exploits at the college rank, particularly with the LSU Tigers in 2019. With that offense featuring future NFL stars in Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase, Brady was named the best assistant coach in the country as the Tigers scored an FBS-record 726 points and went undefeated to win the national championship.
Judging by how many Bills players endorsed Brady as the full-time offensive coordinator, it seems the team made the right choice.
"I would fully embrace it," quarterback Josh Allen said. "I love Joe. I love what he brings to this team, to our offense, the juice that he has [and] the passion that he has for football. How much preparation he's put into a tough situation these last seven to eight weeks...He's got my vote."
