The Buffalo Bills were hit with an early and surprising punch in the first half on Saturday, as the undermanned and injury-ridden Los Angeles Chargers jumped out to a double-digit lead.

But it was the Bills who responded and took a 14-10 lead headed into halftime.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen finished the first half 7 of 11 passing for 124 yards and one touchdown. He found Gabe Davis for a 57-yard score on a one-play drive in the second quarter before rushing in for a two-yard touchdown right before the half to give Buffalo its first lead.

The Chargers and quarterback Easton Stick looked comfortable on offense for most of the first half, as Stick went 10 of 14 passing for 101 yards. L.A. jumped out to a 10-0 lead but surrendered 14 unanswered to end the second quarter.

Buffalo punted on its first drive after the Allen-and-Diggs was just off the mark to begin the night. Allen missed on another third-down throw on the Bills' second possession, as Buffalo failed to catch a rhythm. It certainly didn't help when Bills returner Deonte Harty fumbled the ensuing punt, which gave the Chargers possession right outside the red zone.

Stick and the Chargers capitalized in just four plays off the turnover, as he ran it in from one yard out to make it a 10-0 lead. Who would've thought?

But this is when the Bills flipped a switch.

Allen's touchdown to Davis helped change momentum, something the Bills will look to carry over into the second half.

The Chargers will receive the second-half kickoff.
