Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb is all set to undergo surgery to repair his injured left knee according to multiple reports. The procedure will be performed at University Hospitals by Browns team physician Dr. James Voos.

Chubb and the team recently received good news on the injury last week when it was reported that he may have only torn the MCL and that the ACL was still intact and only partially torn. Today's procedure will be very significant because the medical team will finally know the full extent of the injury.

After it was initially feared to be a career threatening injury, the expected timeline could be 6-8 months for a recovery. This would make a full return prior to next season a real possibility for the team and Chubb.

Chubb injured the knee back in week two against the Steelers on Monday Night Football.  He needed to wait nearly two weeks to have the procedure done as the knee was stabilized and any swelling and inflammation could go down.

It appears that there will be another update given on Chubb after the surgery is completed. Everyone is thinking of Chubb today and hoping that he receives confirmation of the good news that was reported on last week.
