Former Browns RB Peyton Hillis Speaks out for First Time Following Near Death Accident

Former Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis spoke out for the first time since he was left very ill following a heroic act.

Peyton Hillis felt a near death experience in the beginning of January when he was left in critical condition following an accident where he saved his children from drowning in Florida. Hillis took to Twitter to speak out for the first time since the accident.

Hillis played for Cleveland in 2010 and 2011, the 2010 season is one of the better seasons by a Cleveland running back not named Nick Chubb in recent memory. Hillis ran for 1,177 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns.

The fullback running back has been out of the NFL since 2014, but his 2010 season will always be remembered by Browns fans. Cleveland fans poured out their support from the beginning in this tragedy that could have been much worse.
