Potential Browns Draft Target DE Isaiah McGuire Outlines his Expectations for the NFL Combine

Isaiah McGuire is a realistic option for the Cleveland Browns in the 2023 NFL Draft with his ability to make plays off the edge.

The Browns are going to need to bolster the team upfront this off-season and drafting McGuire would certainly help ease the pain from the loss of Jadeveon Clowney, who's set to hit the open market in March.

This week at the NFL Combine, the Browns are getting an up-close look at all 2023 NFL Draft prospects, specifically defensive linemen. McGuire, the Missouri edge-rusher, told me he has informally met with Cleveland at the NFL Combine.

McGuire also said Wednesday he wants to ensure he has good meetings with NFL teams, which will help lead him to overall having a good week in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine.

McGuire said he prepared for the week both mentally and physically with his trainers in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is hoping to leave teams with a good impression.

The 6-foot-4, 276-pound defensive end has the tools and ability to become a dominate force in the NFL.

McGuire has incredible burst, power and uses his hands extraordinarily well.

McGuire is expected to be drafted within the first couple of rounds, and with the Browns selecting at No. 42 overall, he could be in play with Cleveland's first selection in the 2023 NFL Draft.
