Former Cardinals LB Chandler Jones Rips Raiders

It's always fun to keep tabs on former Arizona Cardinals and how they perform in the league - especially a character such as OLB Chandler Jones.

Jones was initially acquired from the New England Patriots for Jonathan Cooper and a second-round pick in 2016. Jones proved to be impactful during his tenure in the desert, accruing 71.5 sacks and garnering honors at the Pro Bowl, All-Pro and the Pro Football Hall of Fame's All-2010's Team.

Jones departed for the Las Vegas Raiders as a free agent in 2022, inking a three-year, $51 million contract with his new team. Last season he recorded just 4.5 sacks playing opposite of Maxx Crosby in 15 games.

It now appears that Jones is upset with Las Vegas after posting the following on his Instagram story before deleting it:

"F--- IT. I DON'T WANNA PLAY FOR THE RAIDERS IF THAT'S MY HC, OR GM...I WANT PATRICK GRAHAM IVY LEAGUE N----"

"It's a shame that I am a top athlete with 112 sacks in the NFL and I have to go to a local gym to work out during the season for no apparent reason this is wild to me Josh and you know it you need to do what's right."

It seems he's not able to get in the #Raiders gym and has to go to a local gym instead and the team contacted his ex-girlfriend who hasn't been with for 5 years

ESPN pointed out just yesterday Jones had tweeted out, "can't wait to play this year! Feelin great in practice!"

The Raiders are set to face the Denver Broncos in Week 1 while the Cardinals will play the Washington Commanders.
