J.J. Watt's Training Camp Looks Much Better in Retirement

Safe to say Watt won't miss the dog days of training camp at State Farm Stadium.

J.J. Watt's Training Camp Looks Much Better in Retirement

In this story:

The Arizona Cardinals arrive to the friendly walls of State Farm Stadium today to begin conditioning testing for the upcoming season, the first of many steps as training camp practices get underway this week.

Arizona has undergone some massive changes in their attempt to rebuild from the bottom up, which has included some notable faces missing that were once considered key parts of a playoff run just a few seasons ago.

One of those is J.J. Watt, who recently hit retirement and has kept himself quite busy since - though he hasn't officially filled out the paperwork (no comeback is in the plans, however).

That's what being a new parent - and part owner of a Premier League club - and accepting a role as an NFL studio analyst - will do, though Watt himself has helped younger brother and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt prepare for the upcoming season.

While his teammates prepare for a grueling practice schedule to ramp themselves up for preseason and eventually regular season action, Watt is enjoying some water time with son Koa.

It's safe to say the views aren't too shabby, either.

Watt leaves behind a massive legacy that should take no less than half of a second for Hall of Fame consideration before putting him in. The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year was able to make an impact in both Houston and Arizona during his career, on and off the field.

It's safe to say Watt's having a much better time.
