PFF Grades Top Five Cardinals in Preseason Finale

In this story:
The Arizona Cardinals concluded their preseason slate by defeating the Minnesota Vikings in 18-17 fashion on Saturday.
In a game where most starters on both sides sat out, opportunities were wide open for players looking to not only make a name for themselves on their own roster ahead of cuts on Tuesday, but also other potentially interested teams as well.
While the Cardinals sort through who they want on their regular season roster, let's see who Pro Football Focus graded as the top five players vs. Minnesota:
PFF Grades Top Five Cardinals in Preseason Finale
1. OL Marquis Hayes
Hayes started at right guard and played a whopping 71 snaps in Minnesota, second only to Jackson Barton's 76. His total grade of 81.0 led the entire Cardinals team.
After amassing a 62.3 pass-blocking grade and 81.8 run-blocking grade, Hayes bounced back well from a less than impressive outing against Kansas City the week prior.
2. S Sean Chandler
Chandler didn't get the start at safety and played 26 snaps, though he was able to make his impact felt a nice interception on Jaren Hall to earn an overall grade of 78.5.
Though his run defense grade of 60 could use plenty of work, his tackling (74.8) and coverage (74.3) was well on display. With Isaiah Simmons out of the picture, the Cardinals have one more slot open for business in the secondary.
3. OL Dennis Daley
Daley had initially entered training camp in a battle with Elijah Wilkinson at LG before Wilkinson secured the spot early on. However, Daley has earned his stripes as Arizona's sixth honorary offensive lineman in heavy packages.
Daley got the start at LG and played just 17 snaps, though his pass-blocking grade of 71.7 and run-blocking grade of 77.3 were more than enough to put him in this top five for an overall grade of 78.1, which tied the next player on this list.
4. RB Corey Clement
Auditions are still very much underway for the RB2 spot in Arizona, and Clement helped his case with a strong outing on Saturday after rushing for 79 yards on 14 attempts.
Clement's 78.1 overall grade was helped by an excellent 84.5 pass-blocking grade, which will be key for backup duties behind James Conner. His rushing grade of 78.5 also fared much better than Keaontay Ingram's 56.7.
5. LB Ezekiel Turner
Turner was the second-highest graded Cardinals defensive player at 76.3 and played just 11 snaps at MLB. He didn't appear to struggle or thrive in any areas such as run defense (69.1), tackling (73.2) and coverage (66.6) compared to his teammates.
Turner played behind linebackers such as Kyle Soelle, Krys Barnes and Owen Pappoe.
