Cardinals QB Kyler Murray 'Not Satisfied'

ARIZONA -- Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is eying big goals in the future.

"Honestly man for me, to be blessed and in the NFL is a dream of mine to be where I'm at right now. So to be living that out - my biggest goal is to win Super Bowls. So we got to get there. As far as everything I've accomplished I'm not satisfied," Murray said in an interview with The Schmo at Celebrity Slam Jam Basketball Game during Final Four Weekend.

Murray has quite the list of accolades, which includes winning the Heisman Trophy after one of the most decorated careers in Texas high school history, being drafted as the No. 1 overall pick, NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors and multiple Pro Bowl nods to his name among others.

Still, postseason success has evaded Murray and the Cardinals since arriving to the league. Arizona's lost the only playoff game they've appeared in with him under center.

That looks to change in the future under the new regime of general manager Monti Ossenfort and head coach Jonathan Gannon in the mix. Arizona finished 4-13 last season under the first year of a much needed rebuild.

For a player such as Murray - who has consistently won at all levels of his career - losing often in the desert is a habit that needs to be broken sooner rather than later. Early in his career there were questions surrounding factors such as his leadership and maturity, though those were silenced last season.

After impressing post-ACL rehab at the end of 2023, the Cardinals could be a team to watch with Murray healthy and in the fold moving forward, especially if Arizona can land him a top target in the 2024 NFL Draft, where the team has six picks in the first three rounds.
