Cardinals Safety Budda Baker Activated Ahead of Week 7

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals announced the following roster moves ahead of their Week 7 battle against the Seattle Seahawks:

Activated safety Budda Baker from the injured reserve/designated for return list

Activated cornerback Garrett Williams from the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list (NFI)

Elevated cornerback Bobby Price and running back Damien Williams to the active roster from the practice squad as standard elevations

Baker will wear jersey #3, Garrett Williams will wear #21, Price will wear #26 and Damien Williams will wear #29 according to the team's official press release.

The obvious news here is the status of Baker, who was designated to return from injured reserve this week and was labeled as questionable heading into Week 7. Baker missed the previous four games with a knee injury and deemed himself as a game-time decision when speaking with reporters.

"Personally, we're playing Seattle. [I'm] going back home, something definitely I wanted to get back for and be ready to play," said Baker earlier this week.

"Right now I'm just taking it day by day and seeing how everything holds up. It'll be a game time decision."

Now, he's expected to play barring any setbacks.

Cardinals rookie corner Garrett Williams is set to make his debut, and he arrives to a Arizona secondary that has certainly seen better days. Marco Wilson has struggled in coverage this season while other names such as Kei'Trel Clark and Antonio Hamilton also have shown plenty of room for growth on the boundary.

Williams tore his ACL last season at Syracuse before the Cardinals nabbed him as a third-round pick this past offseason, though they hope to gain another player from ACL recovery soon in quarterback Kyler Murray, who was designated to return from PUP earlier this week.

Murray practiced all three days but was ruled out.
