The Los Angeles Chargers have a number of players on their roster that have a lot to prove heading into the 2023 season after the way they went out last year. From what we've seen and heard from the early voluntary OTA's, the winning culture is being set since now for the Bolts.

Keenan Allen is heading into an interesting stretch of his career where he is 31-years-old and is still looking to establish himself in terms of winning. The talent has always been there considering his historic 2017-2019 stretch but he has struggled to stay healthy as of late.

Despite GM Tom Telesco and the rest of the front office guaranteeing that Allen remains a huge part of their future moving forward, reports have steadily been surfacing that he could be moved in the next two years.

Looking at another superstar in the NBA playoffs right now, it appears that Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets is drawing a lot of comparisons to Allen. Murray has played a huge role in the Nuggets making their first Finals appearance in franchise history.

Just like stories have been coming out that Allen could be sealed away before his contract is over, Murray also thought he was going to be traded away after he suffered a torn ACL in 2021.

LAFB's Jamal Madni built off of exactly why he thinks that the star NBA point guard has a lot in common with Allen and brought up their electric play style mixed in with their injury histories.

"There have been questions about Allen truly being the WR number one," said Madni. "Primarily because of injuries and health. If we get the best of Keenan Allen, we're talking about a top 7,8 in the game but how often can we get that version? I think a very interesting synergy is taking place in the NBA right now and that is Jamal Murray. He is a guy that we've never really questioned his ability, he's proven his production on the floor much in the same way as Keenan Allen. The reason we haven't seen Denver this deep into the playoffs from 2020 onward is really because Jamal Murray's been hurt."

Hopefully the injury woes are behind Keenan Allen and LA can make a similar playoff run like the one Denver is on right now.
