Most competitive sports are all about being able to go on a run or a long stretch in which one side is scoring while the other is not. Especially when it comes to the playoffs, these runs will determine who comes out on top.

Your Los Angeles Chargers found that out in the worst way possible during their 2022 wild card matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. We all know the story at this point and it was really a tale of everything going perfect for LA in the first half and then crashing down just as fast in the second.

Multiple Bolts players have spoken on the matter during recent media sessions at voluntary OTA's this week and Khalil Mack summed it up the best in my opinion. He described the loss as a nightmare that did not feel real for most of them but he also sees it as a necessary roadblock that has allowed this group to grow even tighter.

However, the Chargers have not been the only team to speak on this historic outing from last season. Jacksonville's own Evan Ingram came out recently and revealed that their squad knew that they would be able to pull off the upset.

"Everybody was supporting everybody, everybody stayed positive," said Engram. "We put a drive together before halftime, I score. We like, 'Alright we down 20 with 30 minutes to go, we can rock out.' And everybody was on board, we just knew we were coming back. We knew what was going to happen and they couldn't stop us."

LA doesn't seem like they need any more motivation heading into this season to prove the NFL world wrong but if they do, they definitely should check that video out to see what Engram had to say.
