NFL Expert Hints Chargers Could Trade Up in 2023 Draft for Top WR

In this story:
There have been some pretty solid narratives surrounding the Los Angeles Chargers as the 2023 draft gets closer and closer.
One that has been there since the earliest of mock drafts and only got stronger with the trade request from Austin Ekeler is that a Texas RB standout will find his way to LA by the name of Bijan Robinson. Other top-heavy prospects such as Jordan Addison and Zay Flowers have been linked there as well but none like Robinson.
But the Chargers are selecting at number 21 in the first round so these guys could be off of the board by then. For that reason, the Chargers' front office is heavily looking into the possibility of trading down to the second round and receiving another pick in the process if they don't like what the see.
However, ESPN's Barnwell believes that LA may just do the exact opposite and look to part ways with more of their own assets and try to trade and get a better pick within the first round. Specifically, he is looking at the New England Patriots who have a firm grip on the 15th pick.

"In this case, the Chargers would be moving ahead of the Packers (No. 15) to land their favorite wide receiver in this class. The Packers drafting a wide receiver in the first round still
seems to be a theory
as opposed to something that might actually happen, but this would be a way for the Chargers to land
Jaxon Smith-Njigba
(Ohio State) as the long-term replacement for
Keenan Allen
. A more speedy option could be in play, although the Chargers probably would feel confident they could stay put and grab
Zay Flowers
(Boston College) or
Jalin Hyatt
(Tennessee)."

This would catch the entire fanbase off guard but as long as the Bolts receive an instant contributor in the process, I don't think anybody would be complaining.
