In this story:

The Los Angeles Chargers have been one of the most injured teams this season, often being without starters for weeks on end. Thankfully, star quarterback Justin Herbert was taken out despite suffering a fractured finger in Week 4. '

Herbert's play hasn't suffered greatly since injuring his non-throwing hand, but it has appeared that his accuracy could have been off a bit. There were times when he had underthrown receivers, which is categorically unlike him.

Despite throwing with his right hand, having a broken finger is wildly uncomfortable, and we imagine taking snaps from the center would send a bit of a shockwave through his hands while getting set to throw. The good news is Herbert appears to be completely healed.

Justin Herbert was spotted at practice today without any tape or splint. This could mean that his troubles with handling the ball might be well over.

Herbert was stellar for the Chargers last week, despite the team dropping a big win against the Detroit Lions. Herbert looked like his old self, throwing for 323 yards, 4 TDs, and 1 INT.

His commanding lead of the offense nearly resulted in the Bolts taking down the mighty Lions.

Unfortunately, the Chargers are now 4-5, and are sitting below .500 once again. They will need to rebound this weekend against the Packers to ensure they stay relevant in the AFC playoff race.

Herbert being fully healthy will certainly lend to the Bolts being able to take down the Packers. The Chargers are getting healthy at the right time, and there should be more wins on the horizon.
