Anthony Richardson Undergoes Minor Surgery
With the microscope on Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, news of any type of surgery can throw a scare into the fanbase. However, the Colts statement on Monday doesn't seem to be cause for alarm.
"Anthony Richardson had a procedure on his nose yesterday to correct his nasal septum," reported the Colts on Twitter. "He will miss practice today and depending on how he feels we expect him to return tomorrow."
Richardson has high expectations on his shoulders coming into this season. After a day in which the Colts and running back Jonathan Taylor have seen their relationship deteriorate, Indianapolis can ill-afford any bad news concerning the new face of their franchise.
However, Richardson's procedure appears nothing to worry about and a day of rest and film study can be just as beneficial for him on Monday.
