Happy virtual NFL draft day!

The Indianapolis Colts enter the three-day draft with seven selections in rounds two through six. GM Chris Ballard will be making the picks remotely from his home basement, while in communication with his scouting staff.

The Colts selections are Nos. 34 and 44 overall in the second round, No. 75 in round three, No. 122 in round four, No. 160 in round five, and Nos. 193 and 197 in round six. The No. 34 pick is the result of a trade with Washington during last year's draft, when Ballard traded out of the first round. Quick reminder - he's traded down at least once in each of his three drafts.

The additional sixth-round pick at No. 197 is the result of a trade with Miami before the 2019 season that involved sending center Evan Boehm to the Dolphins along with a switch of compensatory picks. As a result, the Colts are on the clock 30 positions ahead of the Dolphins' No. 227.

The draft starts at 8 p.m. Thursday (ESPN) with first-round selections, resumes at 7 p.m. Friday with second- and third-round choices, then wraps up on Saturday starting at noon with rounds four through seven.

Let the blog begin. Please comment below!

THURSDAY

12:10 - Colts are set to be on the clock second in round two on Friday. Hope to see Colts fans share their thoughts in the live blog! Good night!

12:09 - With the final pick of round one, the Chiefs choose LSU RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Geez, I was hoping he would be available later in the second for the Colts. His stock evidently climbed. First running back off the board, he was listed as fourth in the pecking order in many position rankings.

12:02 - We close in on the end of round one as the clock strikes midnight. A couple of cornerbacks are off the board. Miami takes Auburn's Noah Igbinoghene at 30, then the Vikings select TCU's Jeff Gladney at 31.

11:48 - Georgia OG Isaiah Wilson goes to Titans at No. 29.

11:43 - Don't see Colts trading into first round now. So close to their first pick at 32 on Friday. As expected, GM Chris Ballard will stand pat.

11:42 - At 28, Ravens select LSU ILB Patrick Queen.

11:38 - Then there was this from Aaron Rodgers last month. Truth.

11:35 - More on Rodgers, who undoubtedly was hoping for playmaker help.

11:31 - Seahawks aren't dealing. They're picking. No. 27 selection is Texas Tech ILB Jordyn Brooks. Didn't see him going this high.

11:25 - Colts Nation can forget about their team taking QB Jordan Love, which was repeatedly suggested in mocks and by fans in social media. Can't resist posting this pic of Packers QB Aaron Rodgers with his presumed reaction to the Love pick.

11:24 - Packers select Utah State QB Jordan Love. Wow.

11:23 - Fourth trade of first round. Packers on clock after swap with Dolphins. They need a WR.

11:15 - Another WR thought to be possible for the Colts in second round is gone as Niners take Arizona State's Brandon Aiyuk.

11:12 - Trade alert, 49ers have moved back into first round in swap with Vikings. Niners get 25th overall pick. Vikings receive picks at Nos. 31, 117, and 176. So Minnesota moves back six spots and adds two picks. Not bad.

11:10 - For those thinking Colts trade into first round, Seahawks pick is coming up at 27. Seahawks have reportedly entertained offers to trade back. They've traded their first-round pick each year since 2012. Hmmm.

11:09 - Saints add Michigan C Cesar Ruiz.

11:05 - SI.com analysis on players selections so far.

11:01 - Chargers select Oklahoma ILB Kenneth Murray.

10:58 - Patriots, who already had 12 picks, add another by trading out of first round in deal with Chargers. New England moves into second round at No. 37, where it didn't have a selection, and also pick up third-round choice at 71 for 23rd overall.

10:57 - Vikings go WR as well with LSU's Justin Jefferson.

10:55 - Eagles take TCU WR Jalen Reagor, son of former Colts defensive tackle Montae Reagor. He was on that list of WRs projected to be available early in the second round. Guess not. Reagor made an impression in his NFL Scouting Combine interview with reporters. He confidently said he can do it all.

10:41 - Jags take LSU OLB K'Lavon Chaisson. Colts will more than make a note of it for their AFC South Division get-togethers.

10:39 - For those wondering, next year's draft is scheduled for Cleveland.

10:36 - Commish goofs in announcing Las Vegas will get draft that it lost this year in 2020. Uh, no, he meant 2022.

10:33 - Raiders jump too early to take Ohio State CB Damon Arnette at 19.

10:28 - Dolphins give Tua a blocker in USC OT Austin Jackson at 18.

10:20 - Cowboys owner Jerry Jones' ego massaged with TV time before selection of Oklahoma WR CeeDee Lamb.

10:16 - Commish with a wardrobe change.

10:13 - Falcons choose Clemson CB A.J. Terrell. Kinda didn't expect that.

10:04 - Broncos select Alabama WR Jerry Jeudy at No. 15. They're probably a little surprised he was still there.

9:59 - Niners look to replace DT DeForest Buckner, traded to Colts, with South Carolina DT Javon Kinlaw at No. 14.

9:56 - Indy native offers amusing advice to NFL GMs on TV.

9:51 - What did 49ers get from Bucs to move back one spot to 14?

9:50 - Bucs select Iowa OT Tristan Wirfs. O-line run continues.

9:48 - Oh those crafty 49ers. They've traded 13th pick to Bucs.

9:42 - Significance of upcoming No. 13 overall pick not lost on the Colts, who traded choice last month to acquire San Francisco defensive tackle DeForest Buckner. Colts GM Chris Ballard said trade was "a no-brainer."

9:40 - Yep, Las Vegas (that will take some getting used to) Raiders select Alabama WR Henry Ruggs III. It was only a matter of time before hearing Frank Caliendo go viral with his popular impersonation of Raiders head coach Jon Gruden.

9:37 - Still waiting on a first trade, too.

9:36 - Thinking this draft is about to go heavy on WRs.

9:35 - Jets keep run on OT's going with Louisville's Meckhi Becton.

9:24 - Catching up on a few picks. Cardinals take Clemson LB Isaiah Simmons. Jaguars choose Florida CB C.J. Henderson. Browns select Alabama OT Jedrick Wills.

9:10 - SI already tweeted Panthers pick of Auburn DT Derrick Brown.

9:02 - Chargers snag Oregon QB Justin Herbert. Early QB run complete. Don't expect Utah State's Jordan Love to go until late in first round.

8:55 - Yep, Tua Tagovailoa to the Fish.

8:50 - Is it Tua time?

8:48 - Giants taking Georgia OT Andrew Thomas at No. 4 might raise a few eyebrows.

8:41 - OSU tweet tidbit.

8:38 - Somewhere, my Lions buddy Scott Hutchinson is smiling about Lions taking Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah at No. 3.

8:35 - Not to sound controversial, but Chase Young has a lot to prove in NFL. He wasn't dominant in his last three college games against top-notch competition. And this is coming from an Ohio State fan.

8:32 - Redskins didn't need to take as long to select Ohio State edge rusher Chase Young with No. 2 pick.

8:25 - Did Bengals really need to take nearly all of the 15 minutes to make the expected No. 1 overall selection of LSU QB Joe Burrow?

8:16 - NFL commish Roger Goodell pokes fun at annual tradition of being booed. LOL.

8 - For openers, let Peyton Manning start this NFL draft.

6:54 - And here's one of the latest Twitter sensations, Joey Mulinaro of Indianapolis, doing his best Mel Kiper Jr. Keep an eye out for when Mulinaro and Frank Caliendo unite in videos.

6:49 - If there's a must-follow on Twitter, it's Caliendo. His impressions will keep a smile on your face. Here's his longtime NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. analyzing draft snacks.

6:42 - All in favor of drafting WR Reggie Wayne again, raise your hand!

3:25 - Cincinnati's savior, tonight's No. 1 overall pick, is in good humor. But he's about to break the bank, so he should be. Cheers, QB Joe Burrow.

1:41 - Surprise tweet from ESPN NFL analyst Todd McShay, on why he's not working the draft. Be well, Mr. McShay.

1:36 - Is the clock started yet? Yeah, OK, a bit antsy. Please understand the media has done a lot of prep work for this draft, too. How's the lighting for a video shoot? Write some basics for a quick-send draft story. If the Colts do trade up into the first round, where and for whom do they land? Tick, tick, tick. Just 6 1/2 hours till we start.
