Cowboys Fans Think Trevon Diggs is Down Bad After Latest Workout Video

In this story:
Former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs recently posted to social media to remind teams he's ready and willing to sign, and some fans think that's a bad omen for his career.
Diggs, who was cut by the Cowboys last season before latching on with the Green Bay Packers, was cut loose by Green Bay this offseason after appearing in two games (including playoffs) and playing just 34 snaps.
As Diggs looks for his new NFL home, he has been posting some of his workouts to Instagram. Here's a few clips of the former All Pro Bowl cornerback putting in the work (warning: NSFW language in videos).

As we've seen over the years, NFL players posting these kinds of clips usually aren't in a great spot in their careers. Some Cowboys fans believe that might be the case with Diggs.
"This usually signals the beginning of the end," one fan wrote.
"I think he might be done. Hope I’m wrong," another fan said.
"Oh his career is over," said another Cowboys fan.
Trevon Diggs' downfall

It was only a handful of years ago that Diggs was on a superstar trajectory for the Cowboys.
After a solid rookie season, Diggs exploded for 11 interceptions in 2021, tying a franchise record, and he notched his first of back-to-back Pro Bowls and a first-team All-Pro.
It was all downhill starting in 2023. Diggs was plagued by injuries, missing 15 games in 2023, six in 2024 and then eight in 2025.
Adding to all that, Diggs just wasn't the same player on the field when he was actually healthy. Despite having major issues at the cornerback position, Dallas had seen enough and waived Diggs just two years after signing him to a monster extension.
"He was a brilliant athlete, and he was a natural ball hawk. He was like a receiver, he would go to the ball," Jerry Jones said of Diggs upon his being waived.
"That takes pristine talent and pristine reaction and reflexes. So consequently, a combination of all of that is the reason we paid him. He deserved to be paid... I wish him well," Jones added.
The Cowboys didn't end up regretting that move because Diggs did nothing in Green Bay over his two games. He did get into the Packers' playoff loss to the Chicago Bears but only played one snap.
Even with his fall from grace, it's hard to imagine that Diggs won't get at least one more shot in the NFL. When that comes and who it comes with, remains to be seen.
