Breaking Down the First Dolphins-Patriots Week 8 Injury Report

In this story:
The hip injury that caused Tyreek Hill to miss practice Wednesday obviously was the big news from the first injury report for the Miami Dolphins' Week 8 matchup against the New England Patriots, but there were other issues.
Hill, as it turns out, was one of four starters who did not take part in the first practice of the week because of an injury, joined on the DNP list by S Jevon Holland (concussion), FB Alec Ingold (foot) and RB Raheem Mostert (ankle).
The one new injury there is that afflicting Mostert, who played against the Eagles on Sunday night and finished with 45 rushing yards on nine attempts. He was not among the players with injuries in the press box during the game.
Ingold didn't practice the previous two Wednesdays, either, but he played against both the Panthers and Eagles, so there shouldn't a ton of concern there.
Additionally, the Dolphins had eight players listed as limited participant in practice Wednesday, including a whopping five cornerbacks: Xavien Howard (groin), Jalen Ramsey (knee), Nik Needham (Achilles), Kader Kohou (neck) and rookie Cam Smith (ankle).
Howard, Ramsey and Needham didn't play against the Eagles, with Ramsey not yet on the active roster and Needham only activated off PUP on Tuesday.
Also limited were WR River Cracraft (shoulder), C Connor Williams (groin) and WR Jaylen Waddle (back).
Cracraft was designated to return Wednesday and this was his first practice; Williams has missed the past two games and three of the past four because of his injury.
PATRIOTS INJURY REPORT
New England had an even dozen players on its injury report Wednesday, but only one player did not practice: DL Keion White, who's dealing with a concussion.
Among the 11 players listed as limited participants were starting TE Hunter Henry (ankle), starting DT Christian Barmore (knee), starting OT Trent Brown (ankle/knee) and former Dolphins DT Davon Godchaux (ankle).
The others were OL Calvin Anderson (knee), CB Jonathan Jones (knee), CB Ty Montgomery II (knee), G Cole Strange (knee), LB Josh Uche (ankle/toe), CB Shaun Wade (shoulder) and DL Deatrich Wise Jr. (shoulder).
