'Madden Don't Watch Football!' Eagles' James Bradberry's Rating Ripped

Each year, the Madden ratings continue to baffle players, and it's not surprising. The Madden team consistently hands out ratings that leave many scratching their heads. As a result, players often take to social media to express their frustration with the seemingly disappointing rankings they receive.

However, this time, former Philadelphia Eagles and current Green Bay Packers cornerback Rasul Douglas decided to comment on Eagles cornerback James Bradberry's Madden 24 rating instead of his own.

Despite Bradberry's All-Pro season last year, he is rated as the 19th overall cornerback in the game, which seems unjustified to Douglas.

"I just don't understand how you can be ALL PRO and be ranked #19. Like I thought that meant you were top 2 in the league at your position unless I'm tripping," Douglas wrote.

Additionally, Douglas was so baffled by Bradberry's rating that he even pondered the question of whether the Madden team actually paid attention to the NFL.

Douglas raises a valid point about the inconsistency of Madden ratings, particularly when it comes to All-Pro players like Bradberry, who receive significantly lower ratings compared to other cornerbacks in the game. While it's important to note that Madden ratings aren't solely based on a player's production, a 19th overall ranking for Bradberry still seems unjust.

Of course, again, this is a league-wide issue. Dallas Cowboys star Trevon Diggs, arguably the top ball-hawk corner in the game, says (by kinda swearing) that he's swearing off "Madden'' because of his low grade.

To demonstrate that he deserves a higher ranking in the game, Bradberry's best course of action would be to deliver another All-Pro season. Achieving back-to-back efforts in that way would make it difficult for the Madden team to justify placing him as the 19th overall cornerback in the future. ... And at least one NFL corner would find himself doing less swearing.
